Highlights from Discngine Meetup Vol. 4: Biotherapeutic developability assessment strategies
For the fourth year in a row, we hosted our annual Discngine Meetup event in an immersive and highly interactive virtual space. The atmosphere was very lively and dynamic, thanks to industry insights, exciting announcements, and discussions at our virtual bar.
This event is a unique opportunity to bring together our customers, partners, and drug discovery experts from around the world. It allows us to move beyond the constraints of formal meetings and foster meaningful, informal interactions within our community.

Event Highlights
Given the evolving market dynamics and the growing interest in discovering new modalities, we dedicated this year's event to the early biotherapeutic discovery. In line with our and our customers’ expertise, the event was titled: “Innovative Strategies for Biotherapeutic Developability Assessment.”
We brought together seven speakers, each with unique experience in the field, to foster diverse and engaging discussions. The focus was on integrating early-stage scientific approaches and cutting-edge technologies for early developability assessment, combining in-silico workflows and advanced in-vitro methods.
Together, we concluded some of the best practices to guide critical decision-making in selecting the most promising biotherapeutic drug candidates.
Our agenda included:
1. Plenary talk with Norbert Furtmann, Sanofi:
Towards biologics by design: AI-driven optimization of next generation NANOBODY® therapeutics
The recording will be provided upon approval!
2. Product launch with Eric Le Roux and Peter Schmidtke, Discngine
3dpredict: Addressing Antibody Property Predictions at Scale
3. Roundtable discussion with Per Greisen, Biomap (chair), Matthew Raybould, University of Oxford, Essam Metwally, MSD, and Nels Thorsteinson, CCG
Cutting-Edge Technologies and Tactics for Advancing Biotherapeutic Drug Discovery
We are very thankful to our speakers, partners and everyone who joined and made this event exciting and successful. The event insights article is coming next, so stay tuned!
